What Is A Curved Stairlift?
A curved stairlift is not much different from a regular straight stairlift. They are cleverly designed to help transport you up or down the stairs with ease, however, it will handle curves on a staircase smoothly. All of our stairlifts are designed to be sleek and streamlined meaning they don’t take up more room than necessary and still look slick and modern in your home.
A straight stairlift follows a strict, straight line up the side of the stairs. A curved stairlift however curves around the stairs according to your staircase.

Benefits Of A Curved Stairlift?
A curved stairlift is perfect if you don’t have a lot of room directly below the stairs, or if there is a wall or door immediately in front of the bottom of the stairs. A curved stairlift can turn around the base of the stairs so that the seat of the stairlift can stop in a more spacious area that makes it easier for you to exit. They can also look more modern and interesting than just regular straight stairlifts.
In some properties, a curved stairlift may be the only option, especially if your stairs already curve around and, the stairlift will have to be made to fit the specific angles of your staircase.

The process of installing a curved stairlift is no different from installing a straight stairlift. It all starts with a quick, no-obligation call with a helpful member of our team. Cost Of a Curved Stairlift & Financing Options
A curved stairlift can start from £4500, however, there are also reconditioned options that can start from £1795. Numerous factors will determine the total cost of having a stairlift installed onto your staircase. A curved stairlift tends to be more expensive than a straight stairlift due to the bends in the rail. A lot of the money when purchasing a stairlift goes into the rail and not the chair. Due to the rail being curved and manufactured to fit the specific curves and angles of your staircase they are bespoke to your stairs.
This is why when selling your stairlift it may not be sold for as much as you bought it for, as the rails cannot be reused, only the chairs.
If a curved stairlift is slightly out of your budget, we have partnered with Snap Finance to offer our customers a finance option. This way, if you are approved, you will be able to pay for your stairlift over a certain amount of months at a fixed price.
