Yes, many manufacturers offer outdoor variations & upgrade packs for their main line of stairlifts. AccessBDD offers an outdoor version of their Homeglide model of stairlift with alternative weatherproofed furniture & protected electronics.
Outdoor Stairlifts use between 0.024 & 0.33 Kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per hour.
On average around the UK this is less than 5p per day to run your stairlift.
Its not recommended to install a stairlift yourself, even if you’re experienced with home improvement project.
While outdoor stairlifts are designed with reliability in mind, there are many safety aspects to consider. Unsafe installation may compromise the users safety.
