The Handicare 1000 Outdoor Stairlift starts at £3500. The final price of the lift & installation will depend on the length of rail that is needed for the staircase that its being installed on & if any modifications need to be made to the lift itself to facilitate the needs of the rider.
Your outdoor stairlift will come with a rain cover included. This is used to protect the stairlift in case of severe weather to help in preventing damage to the lift whilst not in use.
Whilst not free, you may be able to apply for a grant or loan from your local council. In the UK the disabled facilities grant is a means tested grant that encompasses modifications that are made to a home to facilitate certain disabilities.
When looking at affordability, second hand stairlifts are the best way to get a functional stairlift whilst on a tight budget.
We offer reconditioned Stairlifts, which are second hand stairlifts which have been restored to a “like new” condition. This allows for people with a smaller budget to get a clean & reliable stairlift for less than it would cost for a brand new lift.
